Order of the Ministry of Finance on changes to the requirements for the form and content of settlement documents (receipts)

Attention, all sole proprietors — users of fiscal equipment!

As of August 1, 2021, the Order of the Ministry of Finance on amendments regarding requirements for the form and content of settlement documents (receipts) will come into force.

Accordingly, by August 1, 2021, fiscal registrars must be upgraded by their manufacturers so that they can meet the requirements for the form and content of settlement documents/electronic settlement documents generated by fiscal registrars.

Fiscal registrars must be upgraded at the software level to display the following on cash receipts:

• the name of the business entity;
• rounding of the amount due;
• the transaction currency;
• the name of the payment system.

In addition, under the Order, by October 1, 2021, fiscal registrars must be upgraded to display the barcode of an excise tax stamp for alcoholic beverages on cash receipts.

In this regard, Clients — users of cash registers and fiscal devices — should contact US to update the firmware on their fiscal registrars. Unfortunately, device manufacturers state that software modifications will be charged. The cost of the firmware update will depend on the device model and will not be included in the subscription service fee.

If fiscal registrars are not reprogrammed, sole proprietors will be subject to fines imposed by government authorities.
